"On the Ball" class
This class is designed to strengthen all your body with special attention to your core, abs, and posture. We are using a stability ball, Bosu ball, free weights/ bands and other equipment to challenge your muscles. This class is great for those who want to increase their strength, improve a posture, work on the balance, tone abs and strengthen the whole core.
Day: Every Sunday
Time: 9-9:45 AM
Location: Abbotsford Recreation Centre
Price: Regular Drop-in rate or FREE if you have a membership at Abbotsford Recreation Centre or Matsqui Recreation Centre.
The intensity level is 3 and can be modified for any ability. Please arrive to the class early to discuss options with the trainer.
What should I wear?
I recommend that you wear light breathable clothing or sportswear to ensure maximum comfort and flexibility, suitable footwear, such as trainers, for stability and support. I am also highly advise that you bring plenty of water to ensure that you keep hydrated during the class.
Keep in mind that Drop-in classes are on a first-come, first-served basis.
⚠️If you have any health-related issues you should consult a medical professional prior to participating in any physical activity. PAR-Q+ form is mentioned in every class. This questionnaire will tell you whether it is necessary for you to seek further advice before becoming more physically active or engaging in a fitness appraisal.
